Filantis adds hotel, restaurant and office packs to its business phone system
The phones now act on what the front desk, the kitchen and the staff list already know. A free plan with no end date lets a small business try it on its own lines.
12 October 2026 — Filantis, a business phone system (PBX) for small and mid-sized businesses, now comes with industry packs for hotels, restaurants and offices. Each pack connects the phones to the work of the business, so the phone system acts on what the front desk, the kitchen or the staff list already knows.
A small business usually buys its phone system from one supplier and its front-desk, restaurant or payroll software from another, and the two share nothing. In a hotel that means a vacated room can still dial out, wake-up calls are kept in a diary, and reception learns that a room is clean when somebody comes to say so.
With the hotel pack, a room phone gets an outside line only while a guest is checked in. Guests set and cancel their own wake-up calls from the room phone. Housekeeping keys a room's status into the handset and the front desk board updates at once. Rooms cannot ring other rooms unless the desk opens it for a guest.
The restaurant pack adds an order line that rings the counter, the browser and the app together, kitchen order tickets on paper and on a kitchen display, and a kitchen intercom through the handsets. The office pack gives each member of staff an extension when they are added, takes attendance from biometric readers and runs payroll. Accounting is included with every pack.
The phone system itself covers call menus, ring groups, call recording, voicemail, video calls and fax, with apps for Android and Windows. It works with standard SIP desk phones and any SIP trunk provider, so a business keeps its existing numbers and its carrier.
Pricing and availability
Filantis is priced by simultaneous calls, per company, and never per user. The free plan, Mini, has no end date and includes 10 extensions and 4 calls at once. Filantis runs hosted in the cloud, on a dedicated appliance or on the customer's own server, and is sold in US dollars and Indian rupees. Current prices are at https://filantis.com/pricing/
