Which attendance readers work?
Readers from fourteen makes, including ZKTeco, Suprema, Hikvision and eSSL, connect over your network — either pushing punches to Filantis or being collected from. A file import works for anything else.
Do staff need a desk phone?
No. Each person's extension rings in the browser and on the mobile app. Desk phones are optional, and any standard IP desk phone works.
Does payroll file payroll taxes or W-2s?
Not today. Payroll records pay rates, components and the payments made against each month, and posts them to the books. Tax withholding and filings stay with your payroll provider or accountant.
Can a manager see attendance but not salaries?
Yes. Grants are made person by person, so attendance, payroll, accounts and settings can each go to different people.
What happens when someone leaves?
Deactivate them once: their login stops, every signed-in session ends, their devices stop ringing, and their history stays in the registers.
